This Saturday, Neutrogena hosted a game day tailgate experience in Pasadena where Latino sports fanatics experienced product sampling, engaged in key skincare education and enjoyed a performance by DJ Millie.
This tailgate activation was aimed at helping football fans up their healthy skincare game with Neutrogena. Over the past two decades, Latinos have witnessed a 20 percent increase in melanoma cases, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, Latinos who get skin cancer are more likely to be diagnosed at later stages, when it is harder to treat.
Neutrogena said that they are creating these experiences by handpicking locations like Pasadena, which is a key Latino demographic area, allowing the brand to thoughtfully engage with Latino sports fans.

SkinU scientists were on-site, providing expert tips and educating the public about their new Collagen Bank SPF Moisturizer. According to the experts, people begin to lose up to 1% of their collagen each year starting in their twenties. Neutrogena’s new anti-aging face cream is boosted with a patented micro-peptide technology developed with dermatologists.
The micro-peptide is two times smaller than leading anti-aging peptides, which only sit on top of the skin, to penetrate more than 10 layers deep to support collagen. The SPF moisturizer also defends against the sun, and it’s suitable for all skin types, including acne-prone and sensitive skin. Experts also offered samples and demonstrated the negative effects of skipping sunscreen on skincare with a UV device.
Football fans also enjoyed playing games like ping-pong, table soccer and ball throwing for amazing skin prizes. They also gave away goodie bags with Neutrogena products.

Added Neutrogena in a statement, “From touchdown to the final seconds, we had a blast hosting everyone who stopped by our tailgate event at the USC vs. UCLA game! Huge shoutout to our MVP guests Jake Shane and DJ Millie for helping us take our skincare game to the next level.”
Not only was Neutrogena there, but Tyson and the clothing brand Fabletics were also at Brookside Golf Club.
