The 2025 Cesar Chavez Legacy Awards will honor Patty Rodriguez, an entrepreneur, producer and co-founder of Lil’ Libros and Sin Miedo Productions.

“Patty’s work uplifts culture, language, and community - inspiring a new generation of American Latino voices,” the Cesar Chavez Foundation posted on Facebook.

The awards ceremony will be held on May 29, 2025, at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

This event brings together leaders from various sectors, including business, government, labor and education, to commemorate Cesar Chavez’s life and work.

Boston Financial is a presenting sponsor of the Cesar Chavez Legacy Awards, who are also their partner in the creation of the Chavez Foundation’s newest affordable housing community, Plaza Ysabel “Mac” Ortiz II, for working families in El Monte, California.

Plaza Ortiz II was named in honor of the 19-year-old El Monte native who was killed during the Korean War and whose remains were returned nearly 70 years after he was reported missing in action.

It offers 53 units of 100 percent affordable housing, along with community services such as the Si Se Puede Learning Center, the Chavez Foundation’s flagship after-school program for K-5 students.
