Spotify will bring La Tierra de Música Mexicana to life with an exclusive three-day event in Los Angeles starting September 11, bringing together artists, industry leaders and fans to explore the evolution of Mexican music.

An extensive program of invitation-only panels, master classes, and showcases will take place over the first two days of the event. On Friday, September 13th, several emerging artists, including Gabito Ballesteros, DannyLux, Oscar Maydon, Los Primos del Este, Alex Favela, Estevie and Ivonne Galaz will take over the Avalon Hollywood for a once-in-a-lifetime show for top fans.

“Música Mexicana means so much to me because it truly changed my life,” said DannyLux. “Growing up listening to it with my family to then being able to perform it on stage is something I’ll always be grateful for. I love how much people have embraced it in the past few years and it’s cool to see it being mixed with different genres along the way. It’s a very collaborative genre and I think that’s why it lends itself to growth because all the artists are willing to make magic together.”

Mexican music continues to rapidly expand beyond traditional boundaries, resonating with new audiences and contributing to the rise of emerging sub-genres like Sad Sierreño, Norteño Sax and Electrocorridos. To honor them throughout the month, Spotify released three exclusive Spotify singles, each a tribute to the unique facet of Mexican music.

With this event La Tierra de Música Mexicana promises to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Música Mexicana and its artists.
