The results for the Super Tuesday primary votes are still being counted but here is what we know so far.
The two candidates for the U.S. Senate that will move on to the Nov. 5 General Election are Rep. Adam Schiff (Dem) and Steve Garvey (GOP).
California's Proposition 1 in the ballot is still too close to call, although voters are leading towards approval of the mental health measure. About 50% of the votes have been counted, with 1,884,614 or 50.2% approving the proposition and 1,870,020 votes or 49.8% have rejected it so far.
For the District Attorney race, George Gascón was not the clear winner, with 21.4% or 174,822 votes so he will move on the general election with Nathan Hochman, who received 144,757 or 17.7% of the vote.
The highly contested Los Angeles City Council District 14 race came down to incumbent Kevin de Leon with 27.2% of the vote, compared to Miguel Santiago’s 20.3% of votes. They will move on to the general election in November. Wendy Carrillo and Ysabel Jurado were also candidates running in District 14.
Robert Garcia in U.S. Congressional 42nd District won 50% of the votes and has been declared the winner. Joaquin Beltran and Nicole Lopez were some of the candidates who ran against Garcia.
The Huntington Park Measure CC, establishing limits of no more than four consecutive four-year terms for City Council members, passed with 77% of the votes.
Measure PP also passed, which will be a citywide study to determine a parking permit program.
In Bell, Measure I has a narrow lead of approval with 50.6% of the votes in contrast to the 49.4% of the votes rejecting the measure, which would establish a city-wide three-quarters cent tax.
