On Sunday, November 10, Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez announced via Instagram that she would be hosting a chicken giveaway in order to support residents during the holiday season.
“We will be giving away chickens at our upcoming grocery distributions in Chinatown and Westlake,” she said. All food distributions will begin at 10 in the morning and will be available while supplies last, as it is set up on a first-come, first-served basis.
